Historic sites
Like many parts of Europe, Alsace has a rich history and a significant built heritage. The countryside abounds with picturesque architectural vestiges. Medieval ruins, castles reduced to rubble, vineyards, villages nestled in the hills and old bridges are part of the spell Alsace casts on its visitors.
