Traditional Crafts

"Every handcrafted object is the product of craftspeople who have learned age-old skills and invented or improved the necessary tools. I have always esteemed the beauty of traditional crafts, the patience and painstaking work that goes into the making of every object, however humble. All the skill and know-how surrounding those old crafts became obsolete with the arrival of new technology. Mathurin Méheut often said: Draw what you see, it will all change or disappear."
