Weekly talk show
Broadcast by Radio-Canada from 1960 to 1970
Running time: 30 minutes
Co-hosts: Roger Baulu and Jacques Normand
Producer: Jacques Bissonnette
Caricaturists: Normand Hudon and Frédéric Back
This entertaining mix of interviews, satire and variety acts was a mainstay of Radio-Canada programming in the 1960s. Funny, irreverent and endlessly curious, the two hosts welcomed guests from the worlds of culture, politics and professional sports and would frequently interview world figures and international celebrities. As one of the program's resident caricaturists, Frédéric Back would produce drawings slyly commenting on the news of the day. Late-night viewers made it a point to tune in to this weekly rendez-vous with humour and current events.
